2. Join the effort to get local schools to create "Edible Schoolyards" or "Garden of Eatin'"-type school/community gardens, and incorporate growing food and nutrition into the school curriculum
3. Set improved nutritional standards for seniors and children
4. Support buying locally grown food
5. Pass ordinance to phase in mandatory labeling or point-of-purchase identification of foods with GMOs, additives & pesticides, and foods that are irradiated, as well as country-of-origin labeling
6. Promote food literacy education in partnership with local/regional organizations working on food literacy, such as SustainableTable
